The Kinzies were from hearty pioneer stock. A good old fashioned American farm couple who were not afraid to work, believing those who put forth the effort were the ones who prospered.
They came into the state at the time of the Oklahoma Run, staked a claim, and lived in a soddy until they built their first dwelling in 1906. They believed in God and in their neighbor, the free enterprise system, and were convinced that if you offered your neighbor a dollar's value for a dollar's price you would succeed.
Mamma's county fair prizes for experience cooking for a large family and the "oohs and ahhs" at her own table for her mouth-watering recipes combined with Pappa's solid business sense and continuous attention to a "good deal" for the customer made their business grow and prosper. It is in the same spirit that through four generations we Kinzies pride ourselves today.
"A dollar's value for a dollar's price" is our continuing pledge to our customers.
